About this policy
Qmate is a manufacturing quotation and estimating product of Worksol Services Private Limited (‘Worksol’, ‘we’ or ‘us’). This policy explains how we handle personal information when someone visits the Qmate website, requests a demonstration, contacts our team or uses the product. It also describes how we approach information provided by business customers. This policy should be read alongside any separate customer agreement. If you submit information on behalf of an organization, please make sure you are authorized to do so.
Information we receive
Depending on the service you use, we may receive your name, work email, telephone number, company, role, enquiry and correspondence. If account features are enabled, we may process account identifiers, user permissions and login-related information. Qmate may also receive requests for quotation (RFQs), technical specifications, engineering drawings, material requirements, estimates, price lists, customer or supplier details and related documents that you choose to enter or upload. Some of those files may contain personal information about other people. Website and application systems may record basic technical data, such as IP address, browser, device details, activity and error logs, to operate and troubleshoot the service. We do not ask users to upload information that is unnecessary for their intended workflow.
Why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries and demo requests; provide and administer accounts; run quotation, pricing and document workflows; communicate about service changes; provide support; maintain reliability and security; address misuse; and meet lawful business or regulatory obligations. Where optional promotional communications are used, we will provide any choices or consent required by applicable law. We will not treat a customer’s technical drawing or pricing sheet as permission to publish it or use it for an unrelated purpose.
Customer files and confidential information
Manufacturing information can be commercially sensitive. As between the customer and Worksol, the customer retains its rights in the drawings, quotations, pricing records and other material it submits, subject to third-party rights. Worksol handles that material to supply the requested product features, support the customer and meet applicable obligations. Authorized users within a customer’s account may have access according to the roles and sharing settings made available by Qmate. Customers should avoid including unnecessary personal information in their uploads and should obtain any required authority before uploading third-party material.
Data location and processing
Qmate may use cloud infrastructure and authorized service providers to store and process customer information, including account details, uploaded documents, quotations and related records. Depending on the services and infrastructure used, information may be processed in India or other jurisdictions, subject to applicable data-protection laws and contractual requirements.
AI-assisted processing
Qmate may use automated or AI-assisted technologies to support document extraction, quotation preparation and related workflows. Where such features are available, relevant documents and business information may be processed by Qmate or authorized technology providers for the purposes described in this policy. AI-generated information may contain inaccuracies and should be reviewed before commercial decisions are made. Any additional use of customer information, including AI model training, will be subject to applicable law, relevant customer agreements and any required authorization.
Security and account responsibility
We aim to apply safeguards appropriate to the information and the risks involved, including controlled access and measures to maintain service security. The controls actually deployed may change as the product develops. No internet service can promise absolute security. Users should keep credentials private, manage access within their organization and promptly notify Qmate support if they suspect unauthorized activity. We will respond to incidents and make notifications where required by applicable law or an agreed contract.
Data retention and deletion
We retain customer information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Qmate services, maintain business records and comply with applicable legal or contractual obligations. When a deletion request is received, we will assess and process it in accordance with applicable law, customer agreements and our data-retention procedures. Deletion may include account information, uploaded documents and associated records, as applicable. Certain information may remain in backups for a limited period or be retained where required by law. Customers may contact us regarding data deletion and retention.
Your privacy requests
Subject to applicable law, you may ask about personal information we hold, request a correction or deletion, withdraw consent where relevant, or raise a privacy concern. Contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and may need to retain some information to comply with legal obligations. If your information was entered by a business customer, that customer may be the appropriate first point of contact; we will cooperate as required by law and applicable agreements. Qmate is intended for professional and business users, not children.
Updates and contact
We may revise this policy when the product, our processes or legal requirements change. The current version will display its last-updated date; material changes will be communicated where required. Privacy enquiries and requests should be directed to the contact below. Please replace the placeholders with monitored, official contact details before publishing.
